Propaganda

Propaganda is information., especially of a biased or misleading, used to promote or publicize a particular cause or point of view. This piece of propaganda shows how they're forcing teachers to teach students about the Nazi ways. They were doing this because they thought that anything that is not from the Nazis' religions is from the devil. It's tried to alter ones perspective by being biased so it's convinces people that's they ar right. The intended audience are the young people, since they are easier to persuade. It is effective because many kids started believe that the Nazi way was the only right ways.

Day Out With a Celebrity

If could meet any celebrity I would meet Selena. Selena is a singer, actress, spokesperson, and fashion designer. Selena's full name is Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. She is sadly no longer with us. She died March 21, 1995. At the age of 21. She was shot by Yolanda Saldívar, she was the manager of her fan club. Yolanda stole money and financial papers from Selena. When Selena confronted her on this Yolanda pulled out a gun and shot her in lower right shoulder. I obviously wasn't born when she died. But my mom was, she said she remembered exactly what she was doing when she found out she foun out the news. My mom and dad loved her music so I basically grew up listening to her.

If I could meet Selena, the first thing I would do is tell her how much I live her music. I would say how much me and my family appreciate her. Then, I would ask her to teach me how to dance. She was such a great dancer, while me on the other hand., need a little more help. She could dance batchata, cumbia, and other Mexican dances. I would also go on a shopping spree with her. Sh had an amazing taste of style. She was very subjective when a came to the way she dressed. This is what I would like to do if I could meet Selena.

Perseverance

Peservence is not giving up. It's to keep trying and to keep pushing through, whatever pure going through, no matter how hard it is.
A time I persevered is in math class. Math is not my strongest area in school. I preserve when taking a test, when doing homework, or just to keep up in class. Instead of giving up in math a I kept trying to figure out how to do it. I kept trying and trying until I got the right answer over and over again. I persevered because if I gave up then I would never understand it and then I'll never get better at it. If I don't get better then there's a chance that it affects my grades. Some quality traits that you might need to have perseverance are hard working, patience, and understanding.

Character traits:
- Intergrity
- Belieiving in yourself
- Self-respect
- Dont give in to peer pressure

A Few Words of Wisdom

In my short life span, I have been given lots of advice. My several different people. My mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and so many more. But one piece of advice that has really stuck with me is a quote my mom always tells me. The quote goes, "follow your heart but take your brain with you." My mom is always telling with that the older I get the more freedom I get. She said I always have to be wise about the choices I make and the people I hang out with. That I can do what I want but she suggest I be smart about it.

Best Super Bowl Competition

Every year the super bowl has really great commercials. Some are funny, serious, and impactful. But one of the most impactful super bowl commercial I saw this year was the Airnb Super Bowl Commercial - "We Accept."  I totally recommend that you watch the commercial. I will leave it at the bottom of this blog. The message of this commercial is that we should accept and love everyone no matter where they come from. That we should accept them no matter they're religion, ethnicity, or who they love. This message is important because, especially right now with our new president, there's a lot a discrimination towards a lot a of people. People aren't accepting other people for who they are. Everyone needs to support everyone. Instead, people are constantly judging and looking down on others. This message goes to anyone discriminating others. Hopefully, this commercials helps them think a little more before they say something rude to others. I also hope this commercials shows that everyone should be treated equally. This message also goes to those being discriminated against. For them to see that there are others in this world who think discrimination is wrong.
