Perseverance

Peservence is not giving up. It's to keep trying and to keep pushing through, whatever pure going through, no matter how hard it is.
A time I persevered is in math class. Math is not my strongest area in school. I preserve when taking a test, when doing homework, or just to keep up in class. Instead of giving up in math a I kept trying to figure out how to do it. I kept trying and trying until I got the right answer over and over again. I persevered because if I gave up then I would never understand it and then I'll never get better at it. If I don't get better then there's a chance that it affects my grades. Some quality traits that you might need to have perseverance are hard working, patience, and understanding.

Character traits:
- Intergrity
- Belieiving in yourself
- Self-respect
- Dont give in to peer pressure
- Avoid drugs
- Be yourself
- Self -confidence
- Courage
- Humility
- Teamwork
- Good Sportsmanship
- Academics

Happiness Is....

The definition of happiness is the mental or emotional state of a well-being defined by positive or pleaseant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. Happiness makes you smile, it makes you laugh. It's the complete opposite of sadness. It's bright, shiny, and fun. Here are a few things of what I think happiness is.

1. Happiness is when you realize it's finally Friday.
2. Happiness is walking downtown at night.
3. Happiness is talking a warm shower after a long day.
4. Happiness is singing from the top of your lungs to all your favorite song, with your friends.
5. Happiness is not setting up an alarm for the next day.
6. Happiness is laughing so hard you can't breathe.
7: Happiness is having friends who are just has crazy and weird as you are.
8. Happiness is knowing I make my family proud.
9. Happiness is being snuggled up in blankets watching Netflix.
10. Happiness is getting a good grade without studying.
11. Happiness is the sense of relief you feel when you finish all your homework.
12. Happiness is playing volleyball at the park on a warm sunny day.
13. Happiness is staying up passed midnight on the phone with someone you love.
14. Happiness is diving into the water of the pool to start your laps.

A Few Words of Wisdom

In my short life span, I have been given lots of advice. My several different people. My mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and so many more. But one piece of advice that has really stuck with me is a quote my mom always tells me. The quote goes, "follow your heart but take your brain with you." My mom is always telling with that the older I get the more freedom I get. She said I always have to be wise about the choices I make and the people I hang out with. That I can do what I want but she suggest I be smart about it.

Best Super Bowl Competition

Every year the super bowl has really great commercials. Some are funny, serious, and impactful. But one of the most impactful super bowl commercial I saw this year was the Airnb Super Bowl Commercial - "We Accept."  I totally recommend that you watch the commercial. I will leave it at the bottom of this blog. The message of this commercial is that we should accept and love everyone no matter where they come from. That we should accept them no matter they're religion, ethnicity, or who they love. This message is important because, especially right now with our new president, there's a lot a discrimination towards a lot a of people. People aren't accepting other people for who they are. Everyone needs to support everyone. Instead, people are constantly judging and looking down on others. This message goes to anyone discriminating others. Hopefully, this commercials helps them think a little more before they say something rude to others. I also hope this commercials shows that everyone should be treated equally. This message also goes to those being discriminated against. For them to see that there are others in this world who think discrimination is wrong.

Worst Arguement

I have gotten to several arguments with people in my life. Most of them small but there was a couple big ones. One of the biggest arguments I have gotten into, that impacted me a lot, was between me and the person who was my best friend at the moment. The arugunment started out of no where. I thought everything was going fine in our friendship. Me and her never really had a big argument before. She texted me one night and wrote me a whole paragraph on how she said I changed. She said  that I was acting differently now and that she didn't want to be friends with me anymore. I found it so weird because I didn't see myself changing. I couldn't recall a moment where I ever treated her bad. I was always there for her no matter what. For a really long time I tried to save our friendship and I tried apologizing for whatever I did wrong. But it never went back to the way to was. Sooner or later me and her stopped talking. This arguenment made me realize who my friends are. Even if I did change like she said I did, I have had friends who have stayed with me through it all. Not caring if I changed or not. But, suprisingly a couple weeks ago, the girl I got into an argument with texted me. She apologized for everything and me and her are okay no. But our friendship will never really be the same. This is one of the biggest arguments I have ever gotten into with someone.

Fake It Until You Become It

Some aspects about myself that I'm good at is my school work. I usually can keep up in school very well. I do my homework on time, most of the times. Some areas that I need to approve are my presentation/talking in front of a crowd skills. When it comes to this I get very nervous and I don't do my best. I sometimes talk to fast or I stutter. Sometimes I will move a lot and others I might totally forget what I'm suppose to say. One way I can fake it until I become is to act like I'm good at presenting. This could give me the confidence to do better in the future. So that one day I won't stutter or forget my words. I'll will talk in front of everyone as if it was the easiest thing to do.

Kindness Over the Holidays

One kind thing I did over winter break is I helped my mom help set up dinner on Christmas Day. Every year our Christmas Dinner is hosted at my house. My mom always get super stressed about this. She does all the cooking and the cleaning. To be honest I've never really thought about helping her out before. I usually just chill in my room until the guests arrive. But this time I went downstairs to see if she needed any help with anything. I ended up setting up the table and washing some dishes. It wasn't a lot but it took a little pressure of my mom's shoulders.
